Body-based Education That Gets Your Clients Results
Sign up for Personal Geometry for Overcoming Addictions Spring 2025!
Informed and inspired by Constellation Work and Jane Peterson, PhD’s “Bodies in Space”, Personal Geometry® is a brilliant, body-based tool that will help you access your, and your client’s, somatic intelligence in minutes. If you’ve been feeling like you could use a powerful, somatic approach to working with addiction, this class is for you!
This four-week class will teach you highly-effective techniques to weave seamlessly into your practice working with behavioral addictions (compulsive/destructive sex, porn, cutting, gambling, shopping, working) and substance addictions (drugs, alcohol, tobacco, food).
This class is designed for healthcare professionals and healers, seasoned or starting out, who have completed my Personal Geometry Foundations class (or are simultaneously enrolled) and want to apply this highly effective body-based technique to facilitating successful sobriety.
“I have been in recovery from sex and love addiction for four years and seven months. I met with Ali when I was in treatment, less than six weeks sober. A person new to recovery risks daily drowning in shame and despair and because of this pain, I still had a foot in the door of fantasy and escape from my children, my husband, my life.
Through the creative and metaphorically evocative personal geometry, I was able to better understand family patterns of dysfunction, addiction, and abuse. But more than this, Ali encouraged me to consider new patterns and ways to bring forth a more hopeful future. She gently drew out the deep love I felt for my children and family and helped me create a new narrative of hope. Her work helped lay a foundation for what my life has become now--abundant, full, lively, connected--something I never thought possible. This work is remarkable and necessary.” – Margy R., client

I commit to working with the individual requesting a refund to evaluate what’s fair for both parties, as I wouldn’t want anyone to stay who isn’t feeling enriched or isn’t a mutually good fit.
Come join this class to apply my body-based method perfect to facilitate successful sobriety – in a clinical setting, groups, or one-on-one sessions.
In my many years of working in various Los Angeles rehab clinics for sex, drug, and alcohol addiction, I developed Personal Geometry® to rise to the challenges of working with addicts in dissociated and traumatized states.
By working with body maps, I was able to help clients go directly to the underlying issue/s that their addictions were trying to remedy. These underlying issues often elude therapists and clients – years of talk therapy may not identify or resolve them, thus the notorious “revolving door” of conventional and even “alternative” rehab.
By using the universal power of spatial relationships (externalizing the subconscious knowing embedded in the body) this work can facilitate revelation after revelation - not just to the psyche, but to the body-being where deep change can integrate and endure. With Personal Geometry®, healing happens and sobriety is far more likely to stay successful.
One of my favorite things about this work is that it gives clients a bird’s eye view of the family system within which the addiction has felt needed. With compassionate objectivity, Personal Geometry also de-stigmatizes addiction thereby helping “addicts” retrieve, and hold strong to, their dignity and truer identity.
This class is perfect for practitioners who want to have powerful impact working in recovery and who have been looking for a radically effective method to do so.
In this four-week class, we will build on and apply Personal Geometry® to:
Exploring how addictions function for addicts
Understanding how the systemic role of many addicts is the designated family “fuck-up” and how to help them choose otherwise
Helping addicts recognize what their actual needs were, and are now
Guiding addicts to find healthier resources for, and the pathways toward, getting their actual needs met
Facilitating the reclamation of their true identity and higher innocence while also taking responsibility for their actions
PRACTICE FACILITATING in your cohort with my feedback, guidance and encouragement

P.S. If you are someone grappling with any kind of addiction, this class is a great opportunity to also get personal transformative insight. Each student can be their own first case study with any behavior or substance that feels compulsive (we likely all have at least one:).
